I will admit I never liked this show. Its very clearly not designed for someone like me, I will give it credit as I will give anything that attempts to show an intact black family unit. Regardless of how you feel about African American's the media really doesn't help to promote a functional culture or identity for them. Even if many of these issues such as crime and fatherless families are very common I find that the media generally promotes them and makes them look glamorous. Its always welcome to see an example of an intact mostly functional black family even if it is within the context of a cartoon show
