I can't promise you guys anything but at least this way you actually get to go home and have a chance, a second chance.
Are long, drawn out lists of callbacks and references one dimensional and shortsighted, or are they an endearing throng of homages to our past? I may come down from my high, but this is oh so good.
I remember when my dad took me to see Raimi's first Spider-Man film. He got me into comic books and I would get lost into all the various worlds of Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, and WaRP Graphics among others. Nostalgia runs deep in all of us, and yeah, maybe corporations depend and feed on that energy, but if there is also a heart that exists within the material (as long as there is something worthwhile within) I cannot forsake Spider-Man: No Way Home, plot holes and flat jokes...
