Psycho, 1960 - ★★★★

The very first film I had seen from the distinctive Master of Suspense was Rear Window. Since then, there set in the feeling that Hitchcock’s filmography would be an interesting docket of pictures to journey through, but it took awhile to even begin that voyage. Eventually, North by Northwest came my way as a film that peaked my curiosity, but not my first impression post watch. As said many times in previous write-ups, immediately, the amount of charm and nonchalance outmatched the story’s thrills. Such delivery threw me off in the beginning, but became a good mixture of enjoyment that grew on me.
