If they would have just used one of the dozen excellent scenes that shows the breadth of this film and it's sterling presentation for the trailer I think I and a lot more folks would have bustled into a theater to see this. I'd written it off as a paint by numbers procedural. What I saw instead was a human focused David and Goliath fight with nuanced cinematography, delicate shadow choices(lighting and cinematography worked their asses off), and the best performance from Jamie Foxx in years. Michael B. Jordan proves again that I always love him in movies that seem authentic. Tim Blake Nelson does what only an A List character actor can do, he's as unsung as Bill Camp and it's a shame.
In a time when new releases are limited I'd recommend catching up on this in between or once you're done...
