This instant COVIDsploitation classuck stars one-man show Naveen Mullangi, who also writes and directs, as scrawny, scraggly-bearded post-apocalyptic wanderer Aakash, a man just trying to survive in the eerily depopulated India of 2024. In 2022, it seems, “COVID-19 mutated itself into a much stronger version called COVID-19 Alpha. The recovery rate was less than 20%.” People died in every city and “willage”, Aakash explains, and he worries throughout the movie that he may never see his parents or girlfriend again.
