Affirmative Action

Pretty dark and gross in parts. I forgot almost everything about the film except for the "Send Me On My Way" song. Definitely would piss of the tranny freaks and third wave feminists if it was made today because the principal is portrayed as a horrifically androgynous creature.

Very exaggerated and goofy. Wish movies could still be like that nowadays. No deep meaning or symbolism. Just mental junk food.

Some parts are weird when you put it in context of Hollywood. For example, all the borderline torture scenes seem creepy knowing how many pedo freaks there are in the town. Not to mention, Pee Wee Herman (sp?) was in the movie and we all know what happened to his career.

All in all, easy to dismiss. Oh and the minor affirmative action is just the side characters who were cute little black kids. No agenda sensed at all throughout the movie.

Watch it again sometime... I guess.
