I suppose it’s a sign that I’m getting old that Hollywood is now churning out reboots not only of popular franchises from my childhood years like Ghostbusters and Transformers, but stuff that didn’t even come along until I was grown – in this case, the Bush-era Wrong Turn films. Even calling 2021’s Wrong Turn a reboot might be an exaggeration, however, as little apart from the title links it with the 2003 cannibal hillbillies sorta-classic.
