It’s a liberal movie in which the kids are brilliant, the authority figures–the principals and teachers–are sleazebags and morons, and there are no parents to speak of (if there were, they’d be idiots, too, of course). The movie is filthy, vile, and just plain stupid. It’s a stoner comedy, but it’s just not funny. Makes “Dude, Where’s My Car?” look downright Shakespearean. Adrien Brody sure fell a long way down the slippery slope from when he won an Oscar for his portrayal of a Jew in Holocaust Europe. Here he’s a Black-wannabe, crazy...
