The movie takes place just before the war starts, in a small Iraqi village where many refugees, including orphaned children, live in a tent city. A talkative, bossy teenager, nicknamed “Satellite” because of his ability to put up satellite dishes, helps the children earn money to live by digging up and selling land mines.
