Its a nice thriller and psychological horror, but it can be somewhat frustrating because the show constantly switched back and forth two different eras. The characters, as the series slowly unravels, become increasingly less and less like protagonists and more of the standard anti-heros of flawed "victims" that have become popular in recent years. The soundtrack is very ominous and gives of def a tribal survivalist feel to it, the conflicts and fueds between characters may seem rather silly given its a bunch of teen girls, but is made more dire and consequential given their situation. There is plenty of poz and degeneracy here as well, don't expect any good clean family fun. The show wears its edginess on it sleeve but thankfully it realizes that there is a limit to trying to make a big deal out of girl drama. The story and character dynamics have nothing to do with politics for the most part, and thankfully there's something to hate in every character in this series, regardless of race and sexual orientation. Its def something you wanna watch with your white GF who is obsessed with true crime sh*t, murder mysteries and vapid pointless egotistical mind games between b**chy young women. But be sure to point out the explicit anti-white elements as well.
