First watched this back in 2018 or so when I saw @HarmlessYardDog mention it in a tweet. Pretty badass stuff. I don't think the creators meant there to be any deep analogies in the origin story of the protagonist. And when you look up behind the scenes interviews of anime or manga staff they often just say they like the Christian aesthetic like with "Trigun" or "Evangelion." However, for a Westerner undergoing demographic replacement, this may ring the same bells that LOTR does.ย  ย

And the contrast between the religious girl and the heartless Goblin Slayer is really just a universal naive & young v.s. old & pragmatic archetype. But for our corner of the internet may be relatable in the debates you have with normie family members or friends. As they say, "a liberal is just a conservative that hasn't been robbed yet." Well "a goblin apologist is just a goblin slayer that hasn't had a friend raped yet."

But yeah, back in the day when you wanted to watch senseless violence for catharsis, it was simple. "Mad Max" would go and kill people and had a good reason to. There are a few shows and movies like this nowadays, but the bad guys are often Russians, or some obscure SE Asian human traffickers like in "Taken." Or worse, it's anti-White woke crap like "The Hunters." So if nothing else, "Goblin Slayer" is a guilt free revenge series that you can project whomever onto.ย

Perhaps you can relate to hatred consuming you, and letting your enemies define you. Which is "based" for a literal cartoon character, but a sad way to live your life IRL. But to some degree this is human nature and the inevitable eternal struggleย of life. This competition, when not an exaggerated depiction of an insane person, can be a beautiful thing. Like the Soviet / American rivalry that put a man on the moon.ย

Anyways, lemme' pull back on the fart huffing. This is just mental junk food to consume without any POZ.

Well... okay. It may not have a POZed agenda, but it is pretty degenerate. Think of it like the "Heavy Metal" film. It's the typical kind of stuff aimed at adolescent males that you'd see in 80's American media. Which personally, I think is great. It may not teach your son to be a Saint, but at least it won't turn him into a tranny.
