Funny movie. Wasn't a fan of how the husband character was treated in contrast with the wife (standard h*llywood: man is a retard, woman is smart crap), and the wife was a pajeet, but she wasn't the human lead, so it's fine. Cliche plot, but every joke lands so idm. Also the villain is some kind of sp*c, so that's based. Good movie.
I didn’t watch the whole movie, but the first few minutes of the film captures the feel through and through I believe. Only watched About 15% of the movie but I feel more than qualified to review it. From what I remember, it opens with some sort of a jewel heist taking place in a mall. After successfully stealing the jewels one of the jewels thieves fumbles and drops their pistol. Upon seeing the...
Knives out is a classic hollywood film as far as that it is competently made and generally enjoyable but with a bunch of Jewish narratives sprinkled all throughout it.
Cast play well off of each other and I'd love to recommend this movie however I'd not give a red cent to the studio because it's the exact kind of movie this site was created to warm people about.
Finally. Pure, unadulterated female kino. The original Ghostbusters was a shlocky, immature romp through several misogynistic tropes and this latest iteration sets the record straight with style. Stunning CG, perfect performances, and clever quips punctuate this heady entry into the Ghostbusters franchise - and leave you thirsting for more by the time the credits roll. Don't miss it.
Starts off with US military sh*t until minute 30. Actual plot starts at 1 hour 10 mins. Plot put on hold to return to military sh*t. Movie literally ends with a resident evil style cliffhanger of: "we should of based the movie on the cool asf ending" except this ending is sh*t - it just implies there will be a plot later. I counted 5 monster types total, with 3 being relevant. Thank you for coming...
It’ll make you rich.
Learn from the main character and be him IRL. In a good way.
American Psycho is a brilliant film, perhaps the best film of the 2000s bar Lord of The Rings. But like LotR, it suffers from one fatal flaw: being inferior to the source material. The movie seems quite toned down in its criticism on the social divides in NYC. Unlike the book, Bateman never says the n-word, and the movie really cools it with the anti-Semitic remarks. A lot of the murder scenes have...
Anti-patriarchy, anti-marriage, anti-white (on the false premise that the Irish were not considered white), keep this film far away from teens. Female nudity and whirlwind romance will be powerful bait for young men and women respectively, and the trap is misandry. The narrative here is that the success and prosperity of pre-World War society was illegitimate because women and Irish were oppressed;...
Every scene satisfies the heart, mind, and soul.
Every character is one that you can see yourself in. All motivations are understandable. No characters are bad or evil yet all are within a miasma of conflict of good and badness. Revealing the true nature of all things as good. The experience is like looking a mirror.
This movie may give you all you wished for in a film. I hope it does.
This was indeed a movie about Wonder Woman and was 100% set in the 80’s
