Great movie with a lot of good action scenes, although there are some "girl power" scenes, women standing up for themselves and there's also a few bi sexual characters
probably one of my favorite comedy films. all the black and situational humor are dressed to the 9's in this movie....peter sellers plays multiple characters from the sissified American President Merkin to Dr. Strangelove a Nazi holdover scientist. this is a great cold war comedy
A girl living the modern fantasy. Full of solipsism and just skip-worthy, very modern kind of show. To be honest I couldn't watch much but this is the mental poison we find ourselves in these days. It will totally distort any healthy expectation for a teenage girl when it comes to boys and she will never be happy and never settle with a decent guy that's not a 10 that would in actuality be good for...
Be forewarned this movie is disgusting and a hard watch....only in my younger days of me wanting to check off my list of banned or visually disgusting movies, this movie is full of degenerates, tranys and homosexuals. if this movie set out to Be the most Degenerate Disgusting film ever made I feel it won. At least in the movie they admitted they are horrible terrible people unlike most progressives...
This comedy went places I didn't think it would but it delivers in the realm of zombie movies and dark situational humor. I wouldn't want to spoil too much but it is very adult themed to be forewarned
for some reason i loved this movie as a kid upon re watching its very child friendly just overly plucky kids getting kidnaped by two inept convicts. the convicts try to escape to the local national forest to escape using the kids as hostages....the kids escape & the adventure begins. this movie is hokey but its ok for kids and not full of woke garbage. and its not very diverse lol.....other than...
Same director and everything.....same premise except its Judge Dredd and his female partner??? iv never read the comics but at least I don't remember her being cocky. have to ascend a slum high rise and take down the crime boss residing at the top of it. perhaps more explosions than the raid but replace the Silat with gunplay and its about the same
After taking down the slumlord with help from his estranged brother Rama is tasked with taking down the syndicate the slumlord belonged to and has to go undercover to work his way into the Jakarta underworld. expect nonstop action like the first with some of the best choreographed fights in most martial arts movies
Set entirely in Indonesia a Member of a swat team is trying to preserve his family and gears up to run a raid on a slum building overseen by a slum kingpin. things go awry when the raid turns into a death trap and its up to our hero to save what's left of his team and fight his way out
When I watched this movie I remember thinking to myself, my this is one of the better suspense movies in my opinion. I did find the end a bit over the top but for suspense and what is gonna happen next keeping you on the edge of your seat I haven't seen as much in older flicks....but perhaps I'm watching the wrong ones
This film is not bad, but nothing about it is stand out, so much so that it makes you question if a film dramatization of this scope was warranted as an addition to a documentary. The biggest flaw is that it's too long for the unimaginative cinematography, visuals and simplistic acting
one of the last movies to star Lon Cheney JR. and and early movie for Sid Haig a ageing caretaker looks after the psychotic heirs of a once well to do family. when a group of distant relatives or pretenders shows up to try and have them found incompetent....things start going crazy
Beautiful people with creative (although a bit dated) editing. Nonstop uncomfortable scenes from start to finish. Perhaps intentionally ambivalent like the unrequited love each interweaving plot line focuses on. Many scenes are simultaneously blissful and excruciatingly painful. Which is the other common thread throughout: Machiavellian fulfillment of desire by exchanges of drugs, power, prestige for...
Rumble in the Bronx is often cited as a nostalgic example of Jackie Chan's Kung Fu cinema, by many whom probably saw the film in the 90's or early 2000's and are only recalling a faint memory of the action-packed scenes and top-tier choreography. .. However, What they fail to include in their nostalgic recollections is the clunky dialog, and a story line that limps along nonsensically, and the Warrior's...
The protagonist overacts and the movie is retro, but aside from that the film has a surprisingly honest portrayal of race relations in America. Of course there is the expected bias against Whites saying they are the system and racist and bla bla. But they stereotype the other gangs somewhat proportionately and try to show the gritty reality of prison as well as the upbringing that brought them there. Watching...
it's ok, but lackluster
This movie is very sickening, but very well done. Without giving spoilers there are a lot of unpeeling layers to key character's pasts that keep you watching even when you want to turn it off
Screams and moans and bats and bones / Teenage monsters in haunted homes / The ghosts on the stair / The vampires bite / Better beware, there's a full moon tonight / Cannibal spiders creep and crawl / Boys and ghouls having a ball / Frankenstein, Dracula and even the Mummy / Are sure to end up in somebody's tummy / Take a fresh rodent, some toadstools and weeds / And add an old owl and the young one...
Pretty cool Italian horror film with visuals straight out of the mind of someone who saw a vision of Hell
"When the Jews return to Zion / And a comet rips the sky / And the Holy Roman Empire rises, / Then You and I must die. / From the eternal sea he rises, / Creating armies on either shore, / Turning man against his brother / 'Til man exists no more."
