Weird show to pick-up and give a negative review, I know but read on, on the surface SG-1 is just a generic pulp show from the 90's, something that appeals to boys but not to adults, boring stories, annoying cast of black stoic dude, nerdy guy, funny haha chad and lesbian. Its basic story is that aliens build the pyramids, those aliens are worms that inhabit the human body and they are evil. Where...
A film I wanted to check out a while, primarily because its a bizarre and over the top representation of the kind of loony intellectuals that still trouble our society, La Chinoise is a communist film, both an honest attempt at depicting the weird Anarchist-Maoist ideology common in this period and a satire of typical intellectual types, who only talk and discuss, but dont build. Basically the film...
I know a guy on Telegram who keeps sending me Christian video's because he hopes to convert me to his branch of baptist creationism, usually those video's are Dutch but occasionally he sends me one in English, decided to review this one. Where to start, lets start at the positive point from this video, the maker of this short film does give a good idea that the kinds of modern, seculiar worldview...
An old show from my youth that still gives me fond memories, from watching it as a child. The Legendary Journeys is a mostly wholesome, funny and warm-hearted slapstick show that plays around is a loose and ahistoric version of ancient Greece. Hercules played by strongman Kevin Sorbo, looks and acts like a big family dog, defeating his enemies in hilarious choreographed slapstick fights, the silly...
Game of Thrones no doubt is one of the great pieces of epic tv production, a mostly White cast, in a low-fantasy world, closer to a medieval costume drama or an ancient Roman cloack-and-dagger then some ridiculous high fantasy, lots of real politics, manipulation, war, nudity, cruelty, etc its understandable why most people would like this show. Now what interests me are the last 2 seasons which most...
Watched this with my sweetheart, while the both of us where spending our day in bed recovering from the New Years celebration, since I like The Addams Family and she likes Tim Burton, this should have been a good show for the both of us and it kinda was, though I have plenty to say that isn't woke related. My main gripe about this show is that it just doesn't adhere to the source material or interprets...
Serves me right for checking out a modern series, someone recommended here, it's garbage plain and simple. Yeah where to start, the main antagonist is some edgelord, who went to Africa and became a cannibal, or something, but he is really a decent fellow, or something, cringe and boring as hell, the character has no depth, neither does anyone else in this series. Whats the show about, well what could...
Yes, I am surprised nobody has reviewed this film yet, because it should be right up many people's alleys, but perhaps it's popularity has caused this action-flick to be ignored. 300 is in my opinion a fairly important influence on White conscious for many reasons, the first and main reason is that its a luscious, big-budget action flick, over-the-top, melodramatic and historically inaccurate, but...
A show from my childhood, which after returning too it left me with mixed feelings. The Simpsons was never meant as a childrens show, but as a piece of social satire for adults, so I will judge it accordingly. The show, even the earlier seasons, simply are no longer enjoyable anymore. The simplistic characters, together with the outdated social commentary end up making the show mostly irrelevant. An...
A blast from the past, back long ago, in a strange era called the 90's when I was growing up I saw this film and together with school edutainment lessons and playing videogames, I wanted a heckin computer, with heckin internet, so I could play Descent and Quake with my homies, now looking back its actually laughable how bad this film was. Hackers, which has nothing to do with how real leet haxxors...
Oh boy, havent seen this film in ooohhh well over 15 years, I remember this from my childhood and I remember it was pretty PC, now revisiting it I am genuinely impressed, this is probaly one of the most anti-white, cultural-marxist films from the period, the films themselves (yes they produced a whole series) actually work as comedic films, which makes them all the more dangerous. The basic premise...
Another film we all watched in our youth and has clearly a very strong woke message, the humour isnt always bad, its basically a bunch of silly sketches, a few work, most dont, lots of dry humour, some sex jokes, a few religious ones, I was almost tempted to give this 3 stars, except two not so funny jokes. One I find really distasteful is the pilot asking little jimmy "do you like gladiator movies"...
Alpha Centauri is a slightly dated (mostly graphical) and occasionally messy turn-based strategy game in the tradition of Civilization, you land on an alien planet as one of several groups of survivors, you build basis, make sure you balance your energy, nutrients and minerals, you construct buildings, terraform a map with hight differences, design your own army units, steal technology with probeteams,...
What can I say about this film? A lot of bad acting, unconvincing scenes, Germans speaking English, some interesting philosophical ideas executed in a mediocre manner, trite and overdone cliches about free love and drug use, some interesting psychedelic imagery, Goethe as a little aids-goblin. As a film depicting ideas it is decent, it is somewhat relevant to people on the right, because at least...
Watched this film after I saw someone mention it on 4chan, its a fairly mediocre example of a horror film that seems to combine some dramatic character development, with boring and bland horror scenes. It's neither high on gore, nor is it genuinely creepy. The film has fairly low diversity for a modern production, but we still get the brilliant female scientist, the coloured assistant, the assh**e...
Apparently Scott Adams in a bigoted racist now, who knew? I have never really bothered reading this man's comics or his other work, it just never got on my radar, but now that I did I am glad. I watched several episodes of his cartoon series and even though it's slightly too neurotic and too nerdy for my liking, I am of the opinion that this is better and will age better then a lot of other animated...
I found the show incredibly enjoyable and funny and interesting. Each episode of the series has a lot of intrigue and even in the first episode it is over the top and funny. It doesn't push a lot of annoying politics down your throat trying to make you feel one way or another about things. It does include a homosexual marriage which sucks and it also includes a little but of girl boss and man emasculation....
This mini-series is often credited as one of the best ever made and that's for a good reason. A grand pastiche build around a writing of detective novels who ends up in the hospital suffering from a skin-disease and hallucinations, what follows is a story that moves around from a hospital comedy, to a satirical crime story, to snippets of the writers painful childhood, back to lipsynced musical numbers...
I feel like I need to give me my 2 cents on this film, I will hit right home, Starship Troopers is many things, it is, for all intents and purposes not a "satire" or for that matter a "satire on fascism", I will break down why I think so. First, a satire need to be so, clearly and unequivocally, it's needs to be seen as a satire by both the people you are trying to satirize, as well as the in-crowd,...
In this podcast we discuss three movies: “Good People” (2014), “Smoke and Mirrors” (El Hombre de las Mil Caras)(2016), and the truly unsettling “The Killing of a Sacred Deer”...
