I just saw Battle Angel Alita. I think you guys might like it.

There's nothing to hate about it in my opinion. There's just this message of multiculturalism (may have been in the manga) the lower trash city is just a big ass mixing pot of a bunch of cultures and languages. Black people are allowed to actually be bad and irredeemable in this movie too. One person gets blacked but the dude is bad. Super badass female main doesn't bother me at all.

I don't know why people NEED to relate to the main characters based on gender and race. I used to think blade was f**king badass. And leeloo and trinity. All inspiring as a kid. Didn't need to look like me. I don't understand this thing with b**ches and black people today man. Oh there was a weird kinda scene almost like a nudge nudge message about Germans. This kid doesn't like alita because in the big war 300 yrs ago she was on the bad side. This girl tells the kid "cmon that was a long time ago"

Possibly perceived as anti God. Because a man is essentially the "god" so it can be that whole "man is god" situation

Support this because I need a sequel. I actually got emotional and sh*t. I really liked it. Maybe the cyborg human love can be taken as a "interracial" type deal but it wasn't ham fisted like xmen with the gay rights message. The relationship is super hetero romance which is a plus. I think James Cameron (wrote it) and is a possible SJW. Not sure. Gonna have to research that. My gut tells me he is. But Robert Rodriguez directed

Also, I'm happy to learn that the black dude they put as the main villain wasn't an affirmative action thing. He was black in the manga
